Successful completion of a custom DRAM Feasibility study

GMS was tasked to study and assess the feasibility of a custom DRAM circuit on a particular foundry process. GMS executed the PDK and enabled a complete tool flow for the design. A floorplan was developed and rough chip sizing completed, simulations were conducted for timing and power. A redundancy solution was proposed.

GMS was able to create the foundations for a future full-fledged design of this circuit that might be triggered in the coming weeks.
